We were thrilled to offer contributors the chance to attend an exclusive event to mark the opening of the brand-new Hibernian Visitor Centre at Easter Road last week.
The visitor centre celebrates the rich history of Hibernian Football Club in its 150th anniversary year and gives fans the chance to learn more about the origins of the club and the highs and lows of the last century-and-a-half.
Four winners and their guests were invited to represent Hibernian Supporters and be among the very first people to see the completed renovation of the old ticket office building on Albion Place.
With a range of physical and digital exhibits including trophies, match worn shirts, European pennants and rarely seen before artefacts from famous Hibs days, the Visitor Centre provides an interactive overview of the club’s 150 years so far.

Led by the club and supported by the Hibernian Historical Trust and some hard-working, passionate fans, the Hibernian Visitor Centre has been part-funded by contributions from Hibernian Supporters members and acts as a physical reminder of the continued positive impact we can make to the club.
As Principal Partners of the club for the 2025/26 season we have provided significant funding to the club on behalf of our members, and aim to continue to do so throughout the anniversary year and beyond.
Peter McDermott, Hibernian Supporters director, is delighted we have been able to support the club in such a meaningful way as part of the 150th celebrations:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be supporting the Hibernian Visitor Centre, thanks to the ongoing contributions from our members. It’s brilliant to see it ready to begin welcoming fans through the doors in the club’s 150th anniversary year.
“A huge well done to everyone at the club and Hibernian Historical Trust associated with the project. We hope as many fans as possible get the chance to experience Hibernian’s rich history first hand in the brilliant new Visitor Centre.”
Full details of how you can visit the centre can be found here.
