Following the announcement from the club this morning, we are pleased to confirm Hibernian Supporters has taken the opportunity to participate in the recent share subscription with a significant investment in the club.

The investment allows Hibernian Supporters to increase the number of Hibernian FC shares held by our organisation and follows our member consultation where an overwhelming majority of respondents said they supported our participation in a future share issue.

As an organisation with the key objective of obtaining and holding shares in Hibernian FC for and on behalf of our members, we are delighted to have been offered the opportunity to participate in the recent share issue alongside fellow significant shareholders Leslie Robb and Bydand Sports LLC, and with the support of the Black Knight Football Group.

With a new season on the horizon, we are committed to working constructively with the football club and we are hopeful our recent investment can kickstart a new, positive era for both Hibernian FC and Hibernian Supporters.

A huge thank you to our members who continue to support us with regular donations and one-off payments. Without your backing we simply would not have been in a position to participate in the share issue, and as a result increasing the number of shares we hold in the club would not have been possible.

As we look ahead to the 2024/25 campaign we are encouraging all fans – whether lapsed members or brand new to Hibernian Supporters – to join us on our journey.

Together we can contribute positively to the club we all hold so dear, and ensure there’s always sunshine on Leith.
