We are pleased to confirm Daniel Shields has joined the Hibernian Supporters board as a director after meeting all required criteria following our recent director elections.
Daniel, who has been assisting with social media, marketing and member communications in recent months brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the board and we are very pleased he has agreed to join us ahead of our upcoming AGM.
In his professional life Daniel works in the sports events industry managing and delivering youth sports events across the UK, Europe and Middle East.
Commenting on the appointment, chairman Jim Adie said he was delighted Daniel has agreed to join the board following his nomination at the recent director elections.
“Daniel has been a great help over the last couple of years as we continued to support the club throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. His assistance with our website, social media and email communications has allowed us to continue to help the club in a really meaningful way whilst supporters were unable to attend matches in person through initiatives such as our Road to Europe, #Hampden100k and League Cup final ticket initiatives.
“We are sure Daniel will be a great addition to Hibernian Supporters and we wish him well going forward.”
In these circumstances, while not requiring to do so, your remaining Directors intend to put themselves before a vote at the Hibernian Supporters AGM which will be announced shortly.
